RED LIGHT THERAPY

Feel great in your own skin

Red light therapy (RLT) also known as Laser Light Therapy is an FDA-approved treatment that uses low wavelength red light which penetrates beyond the dermis to reduce wrinklesscars, redness and acne.

What are the benefits?

Red Light Therapy is a safe, non-invasive treatment in the Photobiomodulation category. Our equipment is medical-grade, category 2, FDA cleared for skin care, pain reduction and hair re-growth. When used for skincare red light brightens, firms, supports increased blood flow (oxygenation) and collagen production.  Our aestheticians often combine Red Light Therapy with our medical grade skincare cosmeceuticals during your facial, beard or scalp facial. This enables the serums and moisturizers to penetrate deeper into the skin for increased absorption, improved effectiveness and longer lasting results.

In addition to improvements in skin tone, firmness and elasticity, Red Light Therapy is frequently used to reduce chronic or acute pain and as a component to a hair restoration protocol.

  • Increases Nitric Oxide Production, which improves circulation by widening blood vessels and promoting increased oxygen transport to cells, muscles and organ. Known benefits include lower blood pressure, faster recovery time after sports and fewer muscle spasms

  • FDA approved to reduce pain in joints and muscles

  • Collagen production is stimulated, which reduces wrinkles and smoothes the skin

  • Improves skin texture and elasticity thus reducing acne scars.

  • Improves Thyroid function

  • Increases circulation to injured nerves, thus alleviating symptoms of neuropathy

  • Boosts follicular health, hair thickness and hair re-growth

  • Supports Mytochondrial (the power house for cells) function on a cellular level thereby boosting energy levels

The number of sessions depends on the purpose. Red light therapy is not harmful and can be used up to twice a day as part of a Hair restoration program.
